Double gah

It took me until nearly 6 p.m. today to even bother checking the Yankees score from last night.

I now wish I hadn't bothered.

Misery and futility are being heaped upon one another in a catostrophic mix, building toward the crap heap of a Yankees season we're witnessing. This is historic in one way, I suppose. Never has a team worth so much played as if it were worth so little.

Triple gah.

John ... Where's our Cowboy's Blog? ... way too many penalties and I'm still not sold on the secondary ... Yanks will sign Teixeira, Sabathia and Manny ... Say good bye to Pettitte, Abreu, Giambi ... the guy who has killed them is Cano ... he should go ... your thoughts?

Cano has a world of talent, a pea for a brain and an egg for a ego. He's too fragile for New York and it pains me to say I agree, he has to go. Although, with the contract the Yanks JUST gave him, it's unlikely a team will want him.

Angels are hot for Teixera, so expect he'll stay. Sabathia's a better bet. Brew crew can't pay him. Hello $25 million per year pitcher!

Manny? No way. He's a perfect fit for the Dodgers. He, like their fans, can show up in the third, go home in the 7th and not care what happens one way or the other.

Pettitte will stay. He's a "Yankee," remember? Plus, he wants to pitch at the new Stadium.

Giambi - I've been looking forward to his departure since they signed him. Huge mistake.

Abreu - I love his apprroach at the plate. He's a good fit, but he's a little too pricey for what he brings. I assume Nady will shift to right.

Sadly, I doubt the Bulletin will sanction a Cowboys blog. Possibly a staff NFL blog. That said, no worries about the secondary. Neuman's a pro-bowler, Henry can matchup with the big receivers and the safeties are good enough. We'll see if Jones can get hos legs. He looked pretty awful against the Browns. Otherwise, the Cowboys will outscore most of their opponents.

I'm pleasantly surprised after one week with Felix Jones. He's the complement to Barber Julius Jones was supposed to be. After one week. We;ll see how he holds up.
