John Lackey got a win with that ungodly performance.
And Phil Hughes can't crack 90. In April. Ugh.

Duel of the ugly
Listened to about 10 minutes of today's game driving in. Considering causing pile-up to make the pain stop. Then Youkilis got into a rundown. Eastern Connecticut thanks you, you hairy red-ass.

Four games in a feeling fine
The experiment continues, despite the chagrin on Mrs. Luckiest Blog on the Face of the Earth, who, like so, so many people, doesn't read this blog.
I'm getting my Yankees news from ScoreCenter updates and second-day stories. It's refreshing, not having to look at Joe Girardi, just seeing in him calculating the worst time to pull a pitcher.
Instead, I read about my team, winning losing, answering completely stale, stupid or pointless questions with by-the-book answers.
And with the Red Sox clearly on pace for a 0-162 season, things are truly looking grand. In April.

Texas heat
Bummer for the Sox today. I had no idea Darren Oliver was STILL in the league. But David Ortiz proved he could a BP fastball. Nice job Dave.
Great way to start the season, seeing Bard blow up while Pappelbon watches, thinking about where he'll be in June.

And we're off
Yankees win and I didn't spending 4 hours finding out how. I have an iPhone app for that. Oh, Tex hit a home run says the little chimey update. Thanks chimey update.
Joba gets the win, Mo gets the save and former Yank Phil Coke takes the loss.
Say this about technology: As much information as we're exposed to now, at least there are ways to compress it into usable, chunks.

Worst blogger ever
All right. It's go time.
I'm excited about Opening Day because I don't have cable/satellite and won't be watching any games this season. I'm going to find new and exciting ways to hate Joe Girardi and want to strangle him.

The silence is broken
Say it ain't so Andy. Say it ain't so.
Even if it is your decision to retire, I blame your wife.
